about me

Glad you’re here.

Who I am, what I’m working on, and what I collect.

I'm Yoshen.

I like turning ideas into things that actually exist — websites, tools, interfaces, or sometimes just a note worth keeping.

I don't care much about labels like designer or developer. Design helps me think about how something should feel and work. Code lets me make it real. I enjoy moving between the two.

yoshen.me is where I keep the things I make, learn, and think about. It is still changing. So am I.

Currently

Lately, I've been revisiting Blink, a long-running project.

It started as something I built while learning. Now I'm reworking its design, code, and documentation more deliberately. It has become a record of how the way I make things has changed.

Beyond Work

I collect things I like — films, shows, music, and images.

Some stay with me for a moment. Others quietly shape the way I see and make things. A few of them end up here.

Some Days

a few days on the water
  • Lamma Island, Hong Kong — a gap in the tree shade opening onto the beach, a bicycle parked on the sand, pale blue sea beyond
  • Lamma Island, Hong Kong — two kids lying in the shallow surf, an orange buoy floating behind them
  • Inside a ferry cabin, passengers filling the benches, the far shore of the city through the window
  • The Bruce Lee statue in silhouette by the water, dense high-rises on the opposite shore
  • Cheung Chau, Hong Kong — at a railing by the sea, one person holding up a camera while another presses the shutter beside them

You don't have to be perfect to be worthy of love.
